Apprentice Automation Technician EFZ

1 training position from August 2027 As an apprentice automation technician, you are the specialist for planning, developing, installing, commissioning and maintaining automated systems at Zurich Airport – such as the baggage sorting system. In a varied and demanding working environment, your task is to ensure a high availability of the baggage systems. You build electrical controls or automation systems with specialists, commission them and carry out maintenance work. You will experience an exciting and varied apprenticeship, regularly rotating through different specialist departments. Your job destination

• You actively participate in the planning and development of electrical controls and automation systems, especially for the baggage sorting system
• Your careful maintenance work ensures that the availability of the baggage systems is always maintained at the highest level
• You take responsibility for the commissioning of automated systems

Your skills in your baggage

• You have successfully completed compulsory schooling at secondary level (or higher)
• You are enthusiastic about technical contexts and electrical engineering
• You are a communicative and engaging personality
• A quick grasp, high concentration ability and a love of logical thinking are among your strengths
• Your manual skills and practical aptitude distinguish you
• Your working style is characterised by independence, reliability and a sense of responsibility
• You enjoy expressing yourself fluently in German, both spoken and written
