For one of our clients, we are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst ENG / FR in 100% permanent contract to support the assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of credit exposures. The role is responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing credit recommendations, reviewing documentation and collateral arrangements, and ensuring that credit facilities remain compliant with internal risk standards throughout their lifecycle.
Description
- Performing comprehensive reviews of credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of corporate counterparties;
- Conducting detailed financial analysis using audited and management accounts and identifying key risk indicators;
- Preparing high-quality credit memoranda and recommendations for approval committees;
- Presenting financial assessments and risk findings to decision-making bodies ;
- Reviewing and monitoring compliance with approved credit terms and conditions;
- Ensuring the adequacy, enforceability, and proper documentation of collateral and security arrangements;
- Monitoring portfolio exposures, financial performance, and credit ratings, escalating potential concerns when required;
- Managing annual reviews, renewals, and ongoing monitoring activities for existing credit facilities;
- Maintaining accurate credit records and ensuring documentation is readily available for internal and external reviews;
- Supporting governance processes, committee reporting, and ad hoc credit-related projects;
- Reporting to the clients and the Management;
- Participation in the day-to-day to the office.
Profile
- Graduated from a Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 3 to 7 years of proven similar experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, corporate banking, or a similar environment in Switzerland ;
- Strong financial statement analysis and risk assessment skills;
- Solid understanding of lending structures, collateral arrangements, and credit documentation;
- Ability to prepare concise and well-supported credit recommendations for senior stakeholders;
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and sound judgement ;
- Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage with committees and business stakeholders;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Professional proficiency in English and in French; additional languages are an advantage.
