What you can achieve
- Management of the Monument Conservation Department
- Assessment and support of the restoration of protected objects
- Writing specialist reports in the building permit and planning process
- Checking the protection worthiness of an object on a case-by-case basis
- Assessment of construction projects in ISOS-A areas
- Advising the superior authorities on monument conservation matters
- Supervision of monument conservation administrative matters (e.g. subsidy system)
What distinguishes you
- Degree (university or university of applied sciences) in art history and/or architecture
- Practical experience in monument conservation and thorough knowledge in the field of restoration
- Convincing and constructive demeanour
- Awareness of monument conservation in public perception
- Good knowledge of the cultural landscape of Central Switzerland and especially the canton of Schwyz
- Driving licence category B (car)
