As a project manager in design, you are responsible for leading and coordinating design projects and ensuring they are completed on time and according to requirements.
Responsibilities:
Leading and organising design projects in mechanical engineering
Creating concepts, technical drawings, and models using CAD software (e.g. Solid Edge, SolidWorks)
Responsibility for meeting project goals, deadlines, and costs
Close collaboration with internal departments such as development, production, and quality assurance
Communication with customers, suppliers, and external partners
Monitoring and coordinating the entire project process, including material procurement and production
Qualifications:
Design engineer with a federal diploma (EFZ) and a degree as a technician HF or mechanical engineer is advantageous, or similar further education
Several years of professional experience in mechanical design
Solid knowledge in 3D CAD modelling, ideally with Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or similar
German language skills, spoken and written
