You will take on end-to-end responsibility for complex and strategically relevant digital products. The focus is on developing product strategy and roadmap, economic management, and lifecycle management in a demanding and highly regulated environment. Customer requirements, regulatory developments, technological possibilities, and available resources are harmonised.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end responsibility for products throughout the entire lifecycle from vision and strategy to further development and launch
Development and maintenance of product strategy and roadmap in coordination with portfolio management, business owners, and relevant stakeholders
Economic management of product development including budget, cost, and prioritisation decisions
Transparent presentation of costs, benefits, and impacts as a basis for portfolio and investment decisions
Management of complex conflicts between regulatory requirements, customer demands, technical feasibility, and available resources
Development of sustainable product strategies under complex and changing conditions
Systematic analysis of customer needs and legal changes
Derivation of future product features and definition of epics and features
Technical review, co-design, and representation of product concepts
Close collaboration with agile development teams to ensure high-quality and timely implementation
Coordination with customers, development, architecture, testing, user experience, and operations
Promotion of cross-departmental and cross-team collaboration
Professional support and coaching of product managers and junior product managers
Participation in the further development of product management standards, methods, and decision-making processes
Qualifications:
Completed degree or higher education at HF, FH, or university level in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or comparable qualification
At least five years of successful experience managing complex digital products, ideally in enterprise content management
Experience collaborating with or managing user experience and/or solution design
Proven experience handling high professional, regulatory, or organisational complexity
Ability to make well-founded decisions under different and sometimes uncertain conditions
Solid knowledge of agile product development, especially Scrum; SAFe® is an advantage
Experience in stakeholder management of complex organisational and system landscapes
Analytical and structured working style as well as strong ability to understand complex matters
High quality awareness as well as strong customer and solution orientation
Very good German skills at least at C1 level; additional national languages are an advantage
