About the job
Attached to the Information Systems department, you act as the bridge between the needs of the engineering teams and software solutions. Your mission is to ensure the functional coherence and operational performance of the application scope related to design and quality control.
You intervene, according to your expertise, in one of the following two pillars:
CAD Domain: Modelling and digital mock-up.
CAI Domain: Programming, metrology and dimensional control.
Analysis and Advice: Gather, analyse and challenge the business users' needs (Engineering/Quality) to translate them into functional specifications.
IS Strategy: Propose innovative software solutions in line with the group's rationalisation and integration strategy.
Digital Chain Management: Ensure data continuity throughout the product lifecycle (PLM) and manage software evolutions with publishers (PTC, Metrologic Group).
Operational Maintenance (MCO): Coordinate level 2/3 support and guarantee application availability in collaboration with Infrastructure, Security and Network teams.
Change Management: Write functional documentation and support users during deployments.
Training and Experience:
Degree: Master’s level, generalist engineer or specialised in Industrial Computing / Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience.
Technical Skills:
Tool Expertise: Mandatory mastery of CREO (PTC) for the CAD aspect OR METROLOG (Metrologic Group) for the CAI aspect.
IT Environment: Strong knowledge of software integration (OS, databases, connectors) in a critical industrial context.
Languages: Fluent English (minimum B2 level) for exchanges with international suppliers and partners.
Professional Skills:
Excellent synthesis ability and writing skills.
