Senior Foreign Trade Specialist 60-80% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You lead and further develop the export department both professionally and organisationally.
You handle international orders from preparation to shipment.
You compile export documents, permits, and certifications completely.
For country enquiries, you clarify feasibility, costs, and necessary requirements.
You check sanctions and goods classifications before order processing.
You coordinate open export issues with SECO, freight forwarders, and foreign business partners.
You optimise DACH goods flows considering costs and VAT.
Additionally, you support import cases, quotations, and administrative back-office tasks.
Qualifications:
Federal diploma as a foreign trade specialist is required.
Several years of experience in international trade, with at least five years of professional practice.
Initial or solid leadership experience in an export environment.
Knowledge of export control, sanctions, and dual-use regulations.
Strong customer orientation and a solution-focused working style.
Willingness to work increased hours during holiday cover.
Confident German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
French or other foreign languages are an advantage.
