Role:
Do you have a passion for numbers and are looking for a new challenge in financial accounting? This Rocken partner offers you the exciting opportunity to work as a Financial Accountant 80-100% (m/f/d). Responsibilities:
- You manage the financial accounting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to applicable regulations.
- Responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including payment transactions and dunning processes.
- Preparation of VAT returns and ensuring compliance with all tax requirements.
- Support in budget planning as well as in the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
- You monitor liquidity planning and ensure efficient use of funds.
- Preparation and support of internal and external audits.
- Participation in projects to optimise and further develop financial processes.
Qualifications:
- You have completed commercial training, ideally with further education in finance and accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in a comparable environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting and tax regulations as well as confident handling of accounting software.
- You are characterised by a careful and independent working style and have a strong numerical understanding.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills as well as a high level of attention to detail.
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required; English skills are an advantage.
