Role:
Secure cloud platforms are created through thoughtful architecture and consistent automation. As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you actively shape a Microsoft Azure platform and connect security, network, and platform engineering. You make technical decisions with tangible impact and bring zero-trust principles into everyday practice. Specialist teams see you as the first point of contact for architectural questions.
Responsibilities:
You design cloud architectures with a clear focus on security and networking and implement them.
You further develop and maintain landing zones and network concepts stably.
You automate deployments with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) based on Terraform and complement them with scripting.
Furthermore, you implement and monitor compliance requirements, for example with Defender for Cloud, RBAC, and identity concepts.
Additionally, you manage the ongoing operation and further development of the entire cloud platform.
You also support teams during onboarding and advise them on architectural topics.
Qualifications:
A computer science education EFZ, a degree at HF/FH level, or an equivalent qualification forms your basis.
You bring several years of experience with Azure, ideally with a focus on security and networking.
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Defender, cloud security services, and SOC-related processes.
You have already gained practical experience in securing cloud environments, especially in IAM, monitoring, and compliance.
In addition, you have know-how in cloud engineering or DevOps and understand modern operating models.
Certifications such as Administrator Associate or Security Engineer Associate round off your profile.
