Senior IT Support Specialist, Location Zurich-Oerlikon

Tasks

• You independently and solution-orientedly handle incidents and service requests in daily IT support, from receipt to resolution or escalation.
• You actively contribute your experience to the team, support colleagues with challenging cases, and promote a consistent approach in support through knowledge transfer and joint troubleshooting.
• You take on coordination in complex or critical disruptions and ensure structured processing as well as clear communication with all parties involved.
• You ensure high service quality, identify recurring disruptions and weaknesses, and contribute concrete improvements.
• You develop IT support together with the team and participate in improving support processes, knowledge management, standardisation, self-service, and automation.

Profile

• Several years of experience in IT support as well as sound knowledge in incident management, service request fulfilment, ticketing systems, and structured handling and escalation of disruptions
• Strong ability to pass on professional and methodological knowledge within the team, support colleagues with challenging cases, and convey content clearly and practically
• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification as well as an independent, solution-oriented, and reliable working style
• Good knowledge of ITIL basics as well as a structured and process-oriented working method; ITIL certification or comparable IT-specific further training is an advantage
• High service orientation, clear communication skills, confident appearance, and the ability to keep an overview even under high pressure
