Microsoft Infrastructure & Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of customer solutions for Cloud, Modern Workplace, Security and classic IT infrastructures including technical project responsibility for migrations and modernisation projects.
Ensuring and further developing Microsoft-based platforms with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server and Active Directory; both cloud-native and hybrid environments are considered.
Design of modern workplace and client architectures with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management and Autopilot as well as support of Exchange Online, Teams and Microsoft Security.
Support of new and existing customers during onboardings, operational takeovers and technical special cases. This includes current state analyses and documentation as well as 2nd- and 3rd-level support and implementation of projects in the areas of network, backup, security, server and storage. Further tasks are agreed with the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in Microsoft system engineering with very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure as well as a good understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid architectures are required.
Practical experience with structured analysis and documentation of existing IT landscapes as well as an independent, solution-oriented approach are necessary.
Know-how in Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, Autopilot and Microsoft Security is an advantage; this also applies to knowledge of HPE Server & Storage, Aruba Networking, Fortinet, Sophos and Veeam.
Experience from customer projects in the IT service environment is desirable. Regular on-site assignments require willingness to travel and a category B driving licence; fluent written and spoken German is also expected.
