System Engineer - Cloud & Data Centre (m/f/d)

Role:
Cloud that runs: You ensure that demanding hosting and cloud services operate stably, performantly and reliably.
Virtualisation as a playground: VMware, Citrix and modern platform technologies are part of your technical environment.
Not just operation: You further develop services, optimise existing solutions and actively shape new platforms.
End-to-end responsibility: You accompany new services technically from the initial idea to the end of the lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Services: Implement, configure, maintain and further develop cloud and hosting services
Operations: Ensure availability and performance of the platforms
Monitoring: Monitor services and detect anomalies early
3rd-Level: Analyse and sustainably resolve complex faults
Service Design: Design new services and further develop them with a view to an optimal customer experience
Lifecycle: Accompany service products from requirements through implementation and operation to replacement
Virtualisation: Technically contribute to the introduction of new virtualisation solutions
Automation: Use automation and DevOps approaches to make operation and processes more efficient
Qualifications:
Education: You have an IT education or a comparable qualification.
Infrastructure: You bring several years of experience in operating and further developing IT infrastructures.
VMware: You have solid knowledge of VMware vSphere and virtualised server and storage environments.
Citrix: Experience with Citrix Workspace / Virtual Apps & Desktops is a plus.
Server: You are familiar with Windows and Linux server environments.
Networking: You have solid fundamentals in networking.
Innovation: You enjoy getting to know new virtualisation solutions and shaping them technically.
Automation: Knowledge of automation and DevOps tools is advantageous.
Working style: You work analytically, independently and solution-oriented.
Team: You communicate openly and enjoy working together on technical solutions.
German: Very good knowledge & English: Good knowledge
