Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced professional in the field of payroll. In this versatile role, you will ensure professional and timely payroll processing together with the team and act as a competent contact person for employees and managers on all payroll-related questions. You work analytically, independently, in a structured and precise manner, and impress with your strong affinity for numbers.
Responsibilities:
You take over the monthly payroll run for approx. 2000 employees
As an expert in payroll & social security, you advise your team colleagues from other departments
You manage withholding tax liable employees and handle cross-border payroll matters including withholding tax processing
You ensure compliance with labour, social security and tax law requirements and support the execution of internal and external audits.
You participate in HR and payroll projects and support the digitalisation, automation and optimisation of systems and processes
You perform the monthly closing tasks and controls and work closely with finance, controlling and HR
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education
Ideally, you have further training in payroll, social security or human resources
You bring several years of professional experience in payroll and social security
You have good knowledge of labour and withholding tax law
You have experience working with authorities, insurances and audit offices
Very good handling of Abacus
Fluent German language skills are required
