A technically skilled system engineer is sought for a versatile position in the field of Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering. The role is aimed at a person who not only wants to operate modern IT infrastructures but also actively develop them further and implement sustainable solutions for customers.
The focus is on Hybrid Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern IT security. The scope of activities is complemented by infrastructure projects, technical consulting, and independent management of customer environments.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of hybrid IT infrastructures from planning to ongoing operation
Engineering of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments including Entra ID
Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects such as cloud migrations, modernisations, and security optimisations
Design and support of network, virtualisation, backup, and security solutions
Taking over technical troubleshooting for complex faults as well as optimisation of system landscapes
Technical consulting and long-term support of customers as a central contact person
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ and at least 3 years of experience in system engineering
Very good practical knowledge in Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows Server
Good to very good knowledge in networking, security, virtualisation, and backup
Experience in independently implementing IT infrastructure and customer projects
Strong initiative, analytical thinking, and a structured, solution-oriented working style
Customer-oriented and professional demeanour, very good communication skills, and a category B driving licence
