The next step after the EFZ: We are looking for a technically curious system engineer who wants to deliberately expand their first professional experiences and help shape modern IT infrastructures. Servers, networks, and cloud are part of everyday life, as are exciting projects, automation, and new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of modern server and network environments
Support in the operation of Windows and Linux systems
Administration and optimisation of virtualisation platforms
Participation in the further development of cloud-based infrastructures
Support with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Monitoring of systems, networks, and critical IT services
Analysis and resolution of technical faults at 1st and 2nd level
Participation in infrastructure projects and technical migrations
Implementation of backup, recovery, and security concepts
Support with firewall, endpoint, and network security
Automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell or comparable tools
Documentation of systems, configurations, and technical solutions
Participation in the standardisation and modernisation of the IT infrastructure
Gradual expansion of one’s own technical specialisation
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on platform development or comparable training
Initial professional experience of around 1-2 years in system technology or IT infrastructure
Basic knowledge of server administration and network technology
First experience with virtualisation and modern infrastructure platforms
Ideally, first contact with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365
Interest in cloud technologies, automation, and IT security
Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable scripting language is an advantage
Analytical and structured approach to technical problems
High willingness to learn and pronounced technical curiosity
Independent working style and enjoyment in taking responsibility
Team-oriented personality with an interest in exchanging ideas with experienced IT specialists
