Responsibilities:
- Development and design of electronic circuits and assemblies using Altium Designer
- Creation of circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and bills of materials
- Selection and evaluation of electronic components
- Conducting simulations, analyses, and tests to verify circuit and PCB designs
- Development and programming of firmware for controlling and communicating electronic systems
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and quality engineers
- Documentation of development steps and results according to relevant standards and regulations
- Support in troubleshooting and fault rectification during the production phase
- Monitoring technical trends and further development of electronic design practices
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in electronics development, especially in Altium Designer and PCB design
- Sound knowledge in circuit development, layout design, and layout routing
- Experience in programming embedded systems and developing firmware in C/C++
- Good knowledge in simulation and analysis of electronic circuits
- Familiarity with common communication protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI, UART)
- Experience in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers of electronic components
- Independent and structured working style as well as problem-solving skills
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
