Senior IT System Engineer Datacenter&VMware (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF118,500 - 132,000Rocken® specialises in recruiting talents and experts from IT platform development. Responsibilities:
- Installation and operation of IT infrastructures in the areas of datacenter and digital workplace
- Analysis of faults, incident management and resolution
- Change and release management
- Organisation of technical fallback or escalation procedures with corresponding recovery, restart and restore services
- Active communication with the IT team of the assigned customers
- Administrative tasks related to transition and support services
Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship as an IT specialist or further education in the field of computer science (university of applied sciences or similar) with several years of experience
- Profound knowledge of the Microsoft product and Dell Technologies product range, VMware virtualisation
- Many years of practical experience in network communication, storage and backup solutions
- Training certificates from manufacturers such as Microsoft, Dell and VMware
- Willingness to travel within German-speaking Switzerland (ZH, SG)
- In this role, you have a structured, precise and reliable working style
- Enjoy customer-oriented work as well as direct customer contact and have a high quality awareness
