Cloud engineering means automation, architecture and security for you instead of manual administration? We are looking for a technically skilled individual who understands an Azure platform as a modern engineering environment and sustainably drives its development.
Responsibilities:
Further development of a standardised and scalable Azure Landing Zone
Engineering of cloud platforms for productive enterprise applications
Design of identity, network, compute and storage architectures
Establishing secure connectivity between cloud, on-premises systems and external services
Automation of infrastructure and deployment processes
Development of reusable IaC modules with Terraform or Bicep
Implementation of CI/CD workflows for cloud infrastructures
Development of PowerShell automations and serverless workflows with Azure Functions and Logic Apps
Integration of Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and other business applications
Design and support of modern API and integration solutions
Introduction of observability concepts for logs, metrics, traces and alerts
Use of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Microsoft Defender for Cloud to monitor and secure the platform
Further development of cloud governance, security policies and compliance standards
Optimisation of cloud resources regarding performance, availability and costs
Conducting technical analyses of complex incidents and platform issues
Documentation of cloud architectures and technical standards
Monitoring new Azure technologies and actively further developing the platform strategy
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Cloud Platform Engineering
Sound knowledge of modern Azure infrastructure and cloud architectures
Very good understanding of Entra ID, IAM, networking, compute and storage
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment processes
Good knowledge of PowerShell and ideally Terraform, Bicep or comparable tools
Practical experience in integrating cloud services via APIs and messaging technologies
Knowledge of Power Platform or Dynamics 365 is a plus
Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and security
Understanding of zero-trust architectures and modern cloud security
Ideally experience with DevOps, Git and CI/CD
Ability to holistically assess complex technical dependencies
High personal responsibility and strong quality awareness
Enjoyment in developing automated and scalable solutions from manual processes
