Mechanic on Municipal Machines - Assistant (80% to 100%)

The City Purchasing and Logistics Service (SALV) has a modern logistics centre and ensures the supply, stock management and distribution of equipment for the entire municipal administration. Maintenance of the majority of the City’s vehicle fleet is also part of the service’s duties.

Duration

Assistant contract for a duration of 9 months

Main Mission(s)

Check the condition of vehicles and agricultural machines (tractors, mowers, etc.) and ensure their maintenance

Carry out necessary repairs, modifications and inspections

Perform breakdown repairs on the city network

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a motor device mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic or construction machinery mechanic

Good knowledge in hydraulics

Good knowledge of diagnostic tools

Ability to work independently, responsibly and in an organised manner

Special Conditions

Driving licence (category B)

Clean criminal record
