Do you combine solid infrastructure knowledge with enjoyment of direct customer contact? In a versatile IT service environment, you implement individual solutions, accompany technical projects, and ensure that customer environments function reliably. You work closely with experienced engineers and contribute your own ideas to the further development of the service portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Engineering & Infrastructure
You design and implement customer-specific IT solutions based on modern Microsoft technologies
You maintain and develop Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Entra ID environments
You support the implementation of hybrid cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure
You work with virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
You manage network components, firewalls, VPN connections, and WLAN infrastructures
You contribute your knowledge in the areas of backup, storage, and IT security
Projects & Support
You assist the Lead System Engineer in planning and implementing demanding customer projects
You analyse technical faults and handle customer enquiries in 2nd and 3rd level support
You document systems, configurations, and operational procedures clearly
You support customers with technical questions and assist in finding solutions
Customers & Further Development
You participate in technical consultations and customer training
You assist in preparing offers and solution concepts
You contribute your experience to the further development of existing products and services
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on platform development or system technology or a comparable qualification
At least three years of professional experience in system engineering, preferably at an IT service provider
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, especially Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID
Practical experience with Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
Good knowledge of virtualisation with VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V
Experience in the administration of network and security components
Know-how in the areas of backup, storage, and IT security
Experience in implementing infrastructure projects and in technical customer support
Independent and structured working style with a strong service orientation
Very good German skills and good English skills
