Head of Software Development PLC (m/f/d)

Role:
Are you looking for a challenge where you can apply your skills as Head of Software, PLC and NC? In this role, you take technical responsibility for software, PLC and NC solutions and continuously develop automation and software expertise together with internal and external partners. You are responsible for the further development of solutions that require the highest precision and quality. Your goal is to achieve the best possible results together with others. You will start immediately or by arrangement in this demanding position.
Responsibilities:
- You take professional responsibility for the areas of software, PLC/PMC and NC
- You ensure technically and economically optimal solutions for our machines and customer projects
- You develop and maintain NC programmes and technology cycles
- You define software and technology architectures as well as coding, structure and documentation standards
- You plan, control and monitor customer and development projects taking into account requirements, capacities, material availability and deadlines
- You actively contribute to the improvement of processes and workflows
Qualifications:
- You have completed a technical education or degree in automation, electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering or a comparable field.
- You have several years of professional experience in automation technology, PLC/NC programming or the machine industry.
- You have solid experience with PLC/PMC systems.
- You have good knowledge in NC programming and technology cycles.
- You have experience in the development and structuring of machine software.
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
