Optical Fibre Installer (Civil Engineering)

About the job

Mission:

- Read execution plans and network diagrams.

- Install signage and secure the work area on public roads.

- Carry out or supervise trenches (manual or mechanical).

- Operate the mini-excavator (1.5 tonnes).

- Lay ducts (protective sheaths) and manholes (underground chambers).

- Pull optical fibre cables through existing or newly laid ducts.

- Backfill trenches and restore surfaces (tarmac, paving stones, pavements).

- Clean the site after work.

Profile:

- Experience on civil engineering sites.

- Comply with safety instructions on roadworks sites.

- Know how to operate the mini-excavator.

- Hold a category B driving licence.
