Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the four district courts of the canton rule in first instance in numerous cases relating to criminal and civil law in the broad sense. Each includes several chambers (criminal, family, pecuniary, etc.).

To complete the existing team, the District Court of Eastern Vaud, which employs nearly 50 judges and collaborators, is looking for two judicial bailiffs.

• Welcome, check and inform parties, witnesses and the public attending hearings
• Ensure the service of hearings and assist the presidents
• Manage the court's logistics, as well as relations with external providers, notably regarding building maintenance work and furniture reception
• Handle postal service and file circulation
• Manage file consultation by litigants and parties
• Participate in the management of the office supplies
• Manage archiving, preservation and destruction of files and criminal sequestrations

• Commercial employee CFC, or any equivalent qualification, completed by 3 years of professional experience
• Good communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations

• Driving licence desired or required

As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and a criminal record dated less than 3 months.
