We support daily more than 500 children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders throughout the canton of Neuchâtel. Our targeted services in the educational, pedagogical, and therapeutic fields aim to enhance and promote the development of young people with disabilities throughout their schooling. We are a non-profit organisation, recognised as being of public utility and founded in 1967. To fulfil its mission, the Specialised School is seeking an Educator·Teacher for its pre-training programme.

Your mission:

You manage a class composed of 6 pupils and work in collaboration with parents and other professional partners.

You develop the pupils’ learning abilities and ensure personalised support tailored to their specific needs, in accordance with the core principles of the programme and the specialised school.

You facilitate the construction and monitoring of a transition between school and a socio-professional project corresponding to the autonomy level of the pupils entrusted to you.

Your profile:

You hold a pedagogical HEP qualification or a social work HES diploma, ideally complemented by specific additional training in the field of disability.

Proven experience in teamwork is an asset.
