We are looking for our Environment branch in Grand-Lancy (GE), a Senior Expert (m/f/d) 100%.

As an Expert, your main tasks are to:

• Lead complex projects with very high technical/economic/client relationship risks - according to the branch objectives

• Provide strategic and professional expertise to the branch employees

• Be a point of contact in several areas of expertise within the branch

• Represent CSD to clients

Your tasks

• Management of complex projects

• Support project managers in technical and methodological approach, planning, resource coordination and budget management

• Steering the technical quality of projects and offers, ensuring compliance with CSD processes and quality requirements

• Co-lead projects and manage projects at technical, contractual, administrative and financial levels

• Conduct technical or judicial expert assessments

• Client contacts (consultations with clients, subcontractors, partners, authorities)

• Ensure the transfer of knowledge, experience and best practices within CSD

Your profile

• EPF or HES engineer in environment complemented by a postgraduate/master level in a scientific subject, specialised in an environmental or geological field

• At least 20 years of experience in the environmental or geological field (including at least 10 as a senior project manager) - with at least one recognised speciality

• Very good general knowledge of laws and ordinances in the broader environmental fields

• Proven experience in managing studies and projects (study and implementation phases) - skills recognised by peers

• General knowledge of all environmental fields

• Knowledge of the Geneva network and key players, specialised cantonal services, client network - possibly active in another canton or French region near Geneva

• Native French speaker

• Very good writing and general communication skills

• Active member of a professional or employer association, an expert chamber, ideally on the management committee, an asset

• Teaching activity at a university or higher education institution, a plus

• Team spirit, collaborative and willing to develop employees' skills
