As our current head of department is retiring, we are looking for our Infrastructure Branch in French-speaking Switzerland, a Head of Department Underground Works and Special Projects (m/f/d) 80-100%.
Your tasks
Lead and develop the department at the strategic, organisational, financial and personnel levels for the regions of Vaud, Neuchâtel, Geneva, Valais and Fribourg
Actively participate in the commercial development of CSD
Organise and manage the preparation of competitive service offers
Assure the management of the department's projects and the direction of major engineering projects in the fields of underground infrastructure and geostructures at the technical and financial levels
Implement new design and project management tools
Your profile
ETH or University of Applied Sciences engineer in civil engineering, geotechnics or equivalent training
15 years of experience in the design of underground infrastructure and geostructures, including at least 3 years in Switzerland in the position of Project Manager
Proven experience in managing major projects during the study and implementation phases, with solid references
Knowledge of and involvement in the French-speaking Swiss economic fabric
Native French speaker (or at least C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), ideally with knowledge of German
