Our client supports companies in planning and implementing powerful IT platforms – from local server infrastructure to hybrid cloud solutions. You can expect a technically diverse environment where you will realise demanding projects and develop new solution approaches together with experienced infrastructure specialists. You will manage server, storage, and backup systems, implement virtualisation concepts, and advise customers on technical issues. In addition to project work, you will contribute to the further development of solutions and support the offer phase if required.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of complex infrastructure projects for business customers
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server, storage, and backup systems
Implementation of virtualisation solutions based on VMware and Hyper-V
Integration of cloud services and hybrid infrastructures, especially with Microsoft Azure
Further development and optimisation of existing IT platforms
Technical advice to customers and support in finding solutions
Participation in technical concepts and in the pre-sales phase
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or degree in the IT field
Practical experience with server, storage, backup, or virtualisation technologies
Good knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V; experience with Azure is an advantage
Familiarity with solutions from manufacturers such as Dell EMC, IBM, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik or Veeam is an advantage
Structured, analytical, and independent working style
Customer-oriented manner and enjoyment of technical consulting
Good organisation and communication skills
Very good German skills and willingness to travel regionally
