Role:
Numbers, financial statements, and diverse financial topics are exactly your thing? For an established Swiss industrial company, we are looking for a reliable person who independently manages the finance and accounting of a company. You can expect a varied role with a lot of responsibility, close collaboration with various departments, and the opportunity to actively shape processes.
Responsibilities:
You independently manage the financial accounting and oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
You take over the dunning process and ensure consistent handling of outstanding receivables
You are responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and contribute to semi-annual and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
You prepare for audits, compile the necessary documents, and accompany the audit work
You prepare the VAT returns and reconcile the corresponding accounts
You perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure the correct reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
You monitor the expense system as well as the cash book and ensure proper processing
You create provisions, for example for holidays, overtime, and bonuses, and regularly reconcile these
You prepare tax declarations and support various tax-related queries
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further trained in finance and accounting
You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting and are well versed in general and subsidiary ledgers
You are familiar with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
Experience with Power BI is a plus
You present yourself professionally and confidently and communicate fluently in German as well as well in English
