- 80 – 100%
- Permanent position
About the job
The energy sector is undergoing change and you can actively shape these transformations. With the widespread introduction of smart meters and the creation of new energy products, the volume and importance of measurement data are increasing significantly, and their availability and quality are crucial. As enersuisse, we are responsible for around 400,000 smart meters in the canton of Zurich. This position is newly created to strengthen the product teams of metering technology across the board. As part of the Enabling Team, you analyse and improve our processes, establish quality assurance and data-based error prevention, and actively shape your role from the very beginning.
What to expect
- Analyse and understand existing metering technology processes, identify weaknesses, document them comprehensibly, and pragmatically improve them together with the teams
- Responsibility for the further development of our process management
- Systematic use of data to detect errors and prevent them in the future with monitoring and prevention measures
- Automation of end-to-end processes across team and system boundaries
- Drive initiatives to improve master data and master data models
- Introduction of effective quality assurance measures from simple inspection routines to automated controls
- Independent handling of cross-metering technology topics, both those you identify yourself and those we prioritise together as a team
- Live our values: People at the centre, unleash energy, keep it simple, try and learn
What you bring
- University degree or higher vocational training in industrial engineering, information technology, business informatics, electrical engineering or comparable
- Proven experience in process and quality management, ideally in a technical environment
- High degree of personal responsibility: You recognise the need for action yourself, tackle issues and see them through to impact
- Analytical yet pragmatic working style: You get to the root causes and seek solutions that are feasible in everyday life
- Affinity for data, automation and AI
- Experience with methods of structured error analysis and monitoring concepts
- Ideally understanding of metering technology, smart metering and intelligent metering systems (iMS)
- Strong communication skills to gain knowledge through exchange with stakeholders and effect change
- Natural authority through subject matter expertise: You win teams over for improvements because your solutions convince
- Service orientation to strengthen the organisation’s ability to change as a team player
