CI/CD Engineer Embedded Linux (m/f/d)
Role:
This position focuses on the operation and further development of an automated test and build infrastructure for embedded Linux systems. We are looking for a technically skilled individual with experience in Linux, CI/CD, and automation who reliably connects hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of a hardware-in-the-loop test platform
Development and optimisation of automated build, test, and deployment processes
Integration of new embedded systems and test hardware
Administration of Linux servers and embedded test environments
Automation of device management, test procedures, and reporting
Analysis and resolution of complex errors along the CI/CD pipeline
Collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to ensure stable release processes
Qualifications:
Several years of experience with Python as well as automation and infrastructure development
Good knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and container-based deployments
Experience with embedded Linux, Linux boot processes, U-Boot, TFTP, NFS, as well as flash and recovery processes
Solid Linux system administration skills
Experience operating reproducible test and automation environments
Analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as enthusiasm for hardware-near systems
Very good German & English skills
