Responsibilities:
- Your engineering and project tasks, as well as work in various virtualisation and backup areas, will be undertaken.
- The engineering, operation, and maintenance of VMware vSphere, CommVault Backup, Disaster Recovery, and HPE Synergy are your responsibility.
- IT concepts are developed and IT projects are implemented either independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
- Responsibility for the operation, planning, and further development in the data centre is assumed.
- Operational documents are maintained, and regular duties in the on-call service are part of the tasks.
Qualifications:
- Training as an IT specialist with appropriate further education (HF/FH)
- Experience in highly available server environments
- Focus on virtualisation with VMware vSphere
- Knowledge in the area of CommVault
- Experience in server monitoring
- Knowledge in scripting/automation
- Security awareness in the virtualisation environment
- Know-how in the area of disaster recovery
- Very good German skills and good English skills
