The Bourdonnette Child Life Centre is a childcare facility located in a multicultural neighbourhood, offering 71 places for children from the end of maternity leave until they start school, divided into three groups: Nursery, Toddlers, and Middles. A kindergarten with a support system for parenting and children with special needs complements the provision. The CVE is also part of a neighbourhood policy and collaboration with all local stakeholders. To co-direct this CVE, we are looking for a co-director between 70% and 80%.

Main Mission(s)
Co-direct an early childhood institution and support systems for children aged 0 to 4 and their families, taking into account the specificities of a multicultural neighbourhood
Respect the mission and ethical framework of legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure coordination work with all neighbourhood actors (professionals, associations, etc.)
Guarantee the safety and well-being of children and collaborate with families
Lead a team of about 40 staff members, including educational personnel as well as maintenance and kitchen staff
Manage the administration and budget operation of the institution
Profile
Recognised professional qualification in the field of childhood or equivalent training
CAS in team management and project leadership or equivalent training with, ultimately, a DAS
Additional training in family policy and management is an asset
Proven professional experience in team management
Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience under pressure
Organisational, analytical and synthesis skills
Decision-making ability and leadership
