Senior Physician or Deputy Senior Physician Hand Surgery

The University Clinic for Hand Surgery and Peripheral Nerve Surgery is a tertiary treatment centre offering a wide range of services and meeting international standards in all respects. Over 1,800 surgical procedures are performed annually at the clinic, and approximately 11,000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis.

What to expect

• Independent care of patients on the ward and in the outpatient clinic, as well as participation in daily clinical routine (briefings, training, ward rounds) and in the specialist on-call service
• Independent performance of surgical procedures
• Research activities in clinical and experimental research projects
• Participation in the training of assistant doctors

What you bring

• Specialist qualification in trauma surgery and/or hand traumatology or near completion
• Proven scientific activity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Solid language skills in German, English and French
