Responsibilities:
- Development of control software for complex automation systems in manufacturing industry.
- Programming of PLC controls in the TIA Portal and implementation of control algorithms.
- Integration of industrial robots and other automation components.
- Conducting simulations and tests to ensure the functionality of software solutions.
- Participation in the commissioning of systems on site at the customer.
- Optimisation and expansion of existing automation systems.
- Technical consulting of the sales team on customer enquiries.
- Analysis of malfunctions and troubleshooting in automation systems.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical basic training (e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar).
- Further education at HF/FH level in automation or related fields.
- Good knowledge of using the TIA Portal and programming PLC controls.
- Experience in developing automation solutions in industry.
- Knowledge of control engineering and integration of robot systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Teamwork skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Communication skills in German and English.
