Swiss Recycle is the competence centre for recycling and closing loops in Switzerland. This non-profit organisation brings together the national recycling systems under one roof. Through its role as an initiator, facilitator, and networker, Swiss Recycle conducts large-scale awareness campaigns, encourages innovations, and unites stakeholders throughout the value chain to effectively close loops.

To carry out this awareness, the organisation undertakes communication work. Our areas of activity offer exciting fields of work within project management.

Workplace: 100% remote work possible (partly in Zurich)

Start of assignment: immediately or as agreed

Main activities as Project Manager for French-speaking Switzerland and Circular Economy 60-80%

Responsibility for market prospecting and representation of Swiss Recycle in French-speaking Switzerland:
Networking event (Romand Forum), management and development of the network with various stakeholders, contact person for technical questions in French-speaking Switzerland

Strategic development of the service portfolio in French-speaking Switzerland, including prospecting for specialised advice and partnerships

Provision of specialised advice to companies and collection points in the Romandy region

Independent management of projects and thematic platforms focused on the circular economy and recycling

Organisation and delivery of events, workshops, and specialised presentations by conveying expert knowledge tailored to the target audience

Your profile:

Master’s degree in circular economy, sustainable development, environmental sciences, geography, or another relevant disciplineSeveral years of experience in managing complex projects within similar sectorsExperience in practice-oriented project managementExcellent knowledge of Swiss recycling and circular economy or willingness to quickly familiarise yourself with these topicsHaving a network in the field of recycling/circular economy, especially in French-speaking Switzerland, is an advantageStrong communication and networking skillsAbility to work independently and in a structured manner, proactiveVery good command of French, both spoken and written (native level), very good command of German
