Do you want to actively shape the integration platform of a leading Swiss health insurer? Our Integration Platforms & Solutions team ensures reliable and secure data exchange within SWICA as well as with external partners.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a passion for integration, platform engineering, and modern software architectures. In this role, you take on the technical responsibility for our MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and actively contribute to its further development – from stable operational processes to future integration patterns in the AI era.
You work closely with architecture, development teams, security, infrastructure, and business units, bringing your technical expertise to strategically important integration projects.

Senior Software Engineer Integration & Platform Owner (all)
This is how you shape health
- Technical ownership of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including lifecycle management, security, and continuous development
- Further development of our integration architecture towards modern API- and AI-supported integration solutions
- Consulting and support of project teams and stakeholders on integration and architecture issues
- Analysis, specification, and implementation of requirements together with business and IT departments
- Participation in integration projects from conception to production deployment
- Development of APIs, integration solutions, and, if necessary, custom connectors with Java
- Ensuring stability, performance, observability, and operation of the platform
- Support in 3rd-level support as well as technical error analysis in complex incidents
- Shaping engineering standards, best practices, and automation
What sets you apart
- Higher education in computer science (HF, FH, university or equivalent)
- Several years of experience as a software engineer or integration engineer in complex enterprise environments
- Experience with API and integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint, Apigee, WSO2, Boomi, or similar solutions
- Very good knowledge of API design (REST, SOAP, async/event-driven), microservices, and integration architectures
- Good programming skills in Java or a comparable object-oriented language
- Experience in operation or technical responsibility of platforms or central services is an advantage
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, security, observability, and modern operational models
- Good SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Analytical thinking, high initiative, and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
