Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are responsible for the design of fixtures for the production of our products and the creation of precise design and detail drawings using modern CAD systems. You also take on configuration management, maintain the product documentation and support the technical and sales teams in tenders and development projects.
Responsibilities:
Design of fixtures and components for production
Creation of design and detail drawings using CAD systems (Inventor)
Responsibility for configuration management and the change service of product documentation
Management and maintenance of all production documents – electronic and physical
Preparation of technical documents for sales teams during tenders
Close collaboration with product managers in engineering
Participation in development projects and continuous process optimisation
Qualifications:
Technical basic training as a draughtsperson or designer, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician HF
Several years of professional and industry experience in mechanical engineering
Strong analytical and interconnected thinking skills as well as high technical understanding
Confident handling of CAD systems (Inventor) and common MS Office applications
Very good German and English skills
