The Coordinated Oncology Centre (CCO) of the Clinical Oncology Department (DOC) works in the care of oncology patients and enables them to meet their referring doctor during consultations and outpatient treatments such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy.
The CCO brings together a team of highly qualified professionals from various disciplines who work closely to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
The administrative sector acts as an essential partner in patient care and the conduct of clinical activities and provides the necessary administrative skills for the smooth running of the platform. Our ambition is to offer the best possible administrative services, while valuing everyone’s efforts in interdisciplinary work. We operate with professionalism and respect, loyalty and solidarity, exemplary conduct and sharing, in the service of the well-being of our patients and teams.
Mission:

- Indispensable to the smooth running of the structure, you are the point of contact for welcoming and supporting patients and their relatives, manage patient flow in the waiting room, accompany them through their care pathway, participate in providing information, and answer their questions by phone
- In direct contact with the various partners involved in patient care, you organise the different internal and external examinations and ensure administrative follow-up in liaison with other CHUV services
- You organise and prepare the scheduling of consultations for new patients and offer them a personalised welcome, with attentive listening and tailored information
- You collaborate closely with members of the interdisciplinary team and participate in various meetings.
Profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma in Commercial Employment, a medical assistant diploma, medical secretary qualification, or an equivalent title and have experience in a large organisation; experience in hospital settings, healthcare, health insurance, or the pharmaceutical sector is an asset
- You enjoy working autonomously while having a strong team spirit; you are dynamic, conscientious, and versatile, with a keen sense of organisation
- You are comfortable communicating, demonstrating listening skills and empathy
- You have a very good command of French and common IT tools (Microsoft Office suite); knowledge of English is an asset
- You appreciate working in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment and can demonstrate versatility and a good ability to manage priorities and urgent situations.
