On behalf of one of the companies we represent, a well-established fiduciary in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Chartered Accountant with solid audit experience within a Big Four, wishing to take an active role in managing audit mandates as well as in developing the quality of services.

This position is aimed at a technical, autonomous and committed profile, capable of managing audit files from A to Z and contributing to the implementation and monitoring of the firm’s quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• You will work directly with the partner on a portfolio of audit files in statutory audit, mainly composed of trading companies, but also industrial companies.
• Complete management of audit mandates, from planning to report preparation, including audit execution and file finalisation.
• Participation in the development and application of the firm’s audit methodology.
• Supervision and support of staff involved in the various mandates.
• Close collaboration with the partner in managing files, organising work and monitoring mandates.
• Involvement in the firm’s quality management and in the application of the ISQM-CH1 standard.
• Participation in quality control of audit files and compliance with applicable professional requirements.
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes, documentation and audit work quality.

Your profile

• Swiss Chartered Accountant diploma or recognised equivalent qualification.
• Approximately 5 to 6 years of audit experience within a Big Four, ideally post-qualification.
• Proven experience in managing statutory audit mandates in Switzerland.
• Excellent knowledge of auditing standards, methodology and file documentation requirements.
• Ability to manage files independently, from A to Z, while ensuring a high level of quality.
• Strong interest in quality issues, methodology and compliance with professional standards.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of responsibility and willingness to invest in a growing firm.
• Mobile, flexible profile comfortable in a human-scale working environment.
