IT System Specialist (m/f/d)
This Rocken partner specialises in IT infrastructures from servers and networks to printing and telephony. The goal of our partner is to deliver perfectly designed IT for each customer’s tasks. Our partner is based in the St. Gallen area and has around 20 fully satisfied employees.
Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the support and management of projects.
- You implement installations, migrations and updates in the customers’ IT systems, paying attention to hardware, operating systems, applications and network infrastructure.
- You consider important aspects of security and virtualisation.
- You carry out the implementation both remotely and on site.
- You design and realise various IT projects independently or as part of a team.
- You provide technical support at the second level and are available for questions.
- For larger projects, you work closely with the customer’s system technician.
Qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system technology
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in an IT service company
- Solid knowledge of infrastructures with client-server environments
- Experience in end device, network and peripheral management
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Server environment
- Very good German skills and good English skills
