Responsibilities:
Design, setup, and maintenance of realistic test environments and test data for complex system and network scenarios
Planning, execution, and evaluation of manual and automated tests including structured documentation of results
Development and further development of automated test solutions with Python as well as analysis and reproduction of technical error patterns
Identification, isolation, and tracking of software and system errors including root cause analysis and impact assessment
Optimisation of test processes, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructures in close collaboration with development, network, and engineering teams
Qualifications:
Completed degree or advanced technical training in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications or a comparable technical field
Several years of experience in software and system testing as well as in developing automated tests with Python and programming skills in C# and/or C++
Solid know-how in network technologies, routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6 as well as confident handling of Linux
Experience with GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, virtualisation, and CI/CD environments
Knowledge of modern test and development methods, ideally complemented by certifications such as ISTQB, IREB, ITIL, HERMES or Scrum Master, as well as an analytical and structured working style
