Planning, implementation, and support of demanding IT infrastructures in the area of server, storage, backup, virtualisation and cloud. Support in customer projects, further development of existing platforms, as well as technical advice on the selection and implementation of suitable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of modern infrastructure solutions
Operation and further development of server, storage, and virtualisation environments
Implementation of projects in the area of VMware, Hyper-V, Azure and backup
Analysis of technical requirements and development of appropriate solutions
Support in pre-sales activities and technical concepts
Support and optimisation of existing customer environments
Qualifications:
Completed training or degree in computer science, systems engineering or comparable
Experience with server, storage and virtualisation technologies
Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure and backup solutions
Experience with solutions from manufacturers such as Dell EMC, Lenovo, IBM, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik or Veeam is an advantage
Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style
Strong customer orientation and communication skills
Very good German skills as well as willingness for regional assignments
