Role:

Do you want to develop modern cloud architectures, automate infrastructure processes, and technologically elevate complex Azure environments to the next level? Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and scalable platform solutions are your passion? We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer who deeply understands Microsoft Azure and realises innovative infrastructure concepts from architecture to productive implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture, construction, and continuous development of scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructures

• Automation of cloud provisioning using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Bicep

• Development and maintenance of reusable deployment modules and standardised infrastructure templates

• Implementation of complex automation solutions with PowerShell and Azure CLI

• Design and implementation of secure cloud network architectures including Virtual Networks, VPN, Private Endpoints, and DNS

• Setup and optimisation of Azure Landing Zones and standardised cloud environments

• Implementation of modern identity and access management concepts with Microsoft Entra ID

• Integration of CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources

• Ensuring cloud security, governance, availability, and performance

• Optimisation of cloud costs and resource consumption using FinOps principles

• Development of monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

• Technical support of cloud migrations and complex infrastructure transformations

Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or comparable IT specialist

• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform and its core infrastructure services

• Solid practical experience with Terraform and/or Bicep

• Very good skills in PowerShell and ideally Azure CLI

• Experience with Azure Networking, Virtual Machines, Storage, and Cloud Connectivity

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and modern identity concepts

• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance is an advantage

• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment processes

• Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimisation

• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and on-premises integrations

• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
