Further development and optimisation of Linux deployment with Ansible, Bash, Python as well as VMware VM Deployment / vRA
Operation and maintenance of existing Linux servers as well as continuous development throughout the entire system lifecycle
Monitoring and surveillance of the Linux infrastructure with Zabbix
Technical advice and support in the areas of Linux, automated provisioning, containerisation and virtualisation
Participation in committees and IT projects as well as active shaping of modern infrastructure solutions
Qualifications:
Completed computer science education, ideally with further training at HF/FH level or relevant certifications such as RHCE
More than 5 years of professional experience and solid knowledge in Linux engineering
Experience in operating VMware infrastructures and virtual machines
Comprehensive knowledge of the Linux server lifecycle – from automated provisioning through maintenance and monitoring to decommissioning
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
