A modern cloud infrastructure today forms the basis for scalable and secure digital business processes. In this responsible role, you take a central part in the technical advancement of a Microsoft-based cloud environment and ensure that the platform is operated reliably, performantly, and securely.
You work at the interface between cloud engineering, IT operations, and security. You plan and implement Azure infrastructures, automate recurring processes, and continuously develop existing services. At the same time, you bring your experience in analysing complex technical challenges and implementing new cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technical support and further development of a modern Microsoft Azure infrastructure
Planning and implementation of cloud components in the areas of compute, storage, networking, and identity
Automation of operational and deployment processes with PowerShell, Azure Automation, and comparable tools
Monitoring the cloud environment as well as analysing and resolving complex operational disruptions
Implementation and further development of monitoring, logging, and security solutions
Creation of technical concepts, documentation, and architecture overviews as well as collaboration on cloud projects
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science (HF/FH) or a comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in engineering and operating Microsoft Azure environments
Sound knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, IAM, networking, virtual machines, and storage
Practical experience with cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code approaches
Good understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and logging
Analytical and conceptual thinking, independent working style, and good German language skills
