Job Description

• Be a reflective health practitioner responsible for providing patients with quality care on medical prescription or according to the criteria of their autonomous role
• Participate in the reception and care of patients pre-operatively, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (reception, insertion of infusion, installation)
• Ensure the monitoring of patients upon leaving the operating theatre: monitor vital parameters and the clinical condition of the patient
• Know the different analgesia techniques, their implementation, monitoring and be able to apply them on medical prescription
• Be able to identify unstable situations, manage priorities and relay information
• Ensure communication between departments and the operating theatre
• Ensure the necessary written (in the EHR) and oral transmissions for continuity of care between departments, the recovery room and the operating theatre

Qualifications

• Hold a HES or ES nursing diploma or equivalent training recognised by the Red Cross
• Experience in a surgical department and/or recovery room is an asset
• Proficiency in the French language
• Aptitude to integrate into a group and team spirit
• High professional conscience, motivation, flexibility and dynamism
• Ability to manage stress
• Be autonomous and able to take initiative
