You want to not only operate complex IT infrastructures but actively develop them further? In this position, you combine deep Microsoft expertise with modern system technology and security engineering. You design powerful IT platforms, optimise identity and client management, and ensure that business-critical systems remain reliable, secure and future-proof.
Responsibilities:
Design, operation and continuous optimisation of powerful enterprise infrastructures with Windows Server, virtualisation, storage and backup
Further development of central Microsoft platforms with a focus on Active Directory, Group Policy and hybrid identity solutions
Administration and optimisation of Microsoft Entra ID as well as modern endpoint management solutions with Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager
Implementation of technical security measures such as endpoint hardening, vulnerability management and network or system segmentation
Ensuring stable system operation through structured patch management, lifecycle management and standardised configurations
Support and further development of client platforms as well as automated software and configuration deployments
Integration of cloud and network services into existing infrastructure architectures in collaboration with internal IT specialists
Management of certificates and support in operating public key infrastructures (PKI)
Analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure disruptions as well as sustainable optimisation of system availability
Support of specialised IT environments with increased requirements for availability, security and reliable operational processes
Further development of monitoring, logging and automation to improve operational quality
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, system technology or a comparable field; alternatively, solid practical experience
Several years of professional experience in engineering and operating complex IT infrastructures in enterprise environments
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy and identity management
Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and ideally Microsoft Configuration Manager
Experience with virtualisation technologies, especially VMware, as well as with hybrid cloud environments
Sound knowledge in system operation, patch management, configuration management and lifecycle management
Practical experience with PKI, digital certificates and secure system integration
Basic knowledge in database operation and fault analysis as well as understanding of network and cloud architectures
Experience with PowerShell, scripting or comparable automation methods
Knowledge in monitoring, logging, infrastructure as code or IT service management, for example with ServiceNow, is an advantage
Analytical thinking, high personal responsibility and a structured approach to complex technical challenges
