YOUR ROLE

• Management and development of existing customers, as well as active prospecting of new clients
• Technical and economic advice to customers
• Design of solar installations, including yield and profitability calculations
• Preparation of offers, order confirmations and project documents, as well as their digital archiving
• Proactive sales-oriented communication (up selling and cross selling)
• Follow-up of offers in the ERP system / merchandise management system
• Analysis and documentation of reasons why certain offers were not realised
• Preparation of sales forecasts and market observation to identify trends and opportunities
• Representation of the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and customer events
• Active implementation of marketing measures to promote sales
• Management of customer data as well as collection and analysis of customer-related information
• Continuous development of expertise through internal/external training and reading of specialised journals

WHAT YOU BRING

• Completed technical training or technician continuing education, ideally complemented by commercial knowledge, or business management training with a technical focus
• Experience in sales
• Experience in using planning systems for photovoltaic installations (an advantage)
• Ease in using an ERP system / merchandise management system
• Very good command of German and French (C1–C2 level in speaking and writing, required)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Category B driving licence
