Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to not only operate modern IT infrastructures but actively develop them further? In this role, you combine classic enterprise infrastructure with cloud technologies, automation, and modern security. You take responsibility for stable platforms and continuously develop the technical environment.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of complex Windows and cloud infrastructures
Administration and optimisation of server, network, and platform services
Support of hybrid IT environments with on-premises and cloud components
Analysis and sustainable resolution of demanding technical faults
Monitoring of critical systems with modern monitoring and observability solutions
Automation of recurring operational and administrative tasks
Development of PowerShell scripts and automation solutions
Planning and implementation of technical changes, maintenance, and migrations
Optimisation of network architectures including VPN, firewalling, wireless, and SD-WAN
Support for cloud migrations and further development of Azure platforms
Support of Microsoft 365 and enterprise services
Improvement of security, backup, recovery, and system availability
Participation in infrastructure, cloud, and transformation projects
Technical consulting of internal stakeholders and customers on complex issues
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational standards
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, or IT operations
Sound knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise infrastructures
Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365
Good knowledge of network and security technologies
Experience with firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, or SD-WAN
Experience with PowerShell or a comparable scripting language
Understanding of modern cloud and hybrid architectures
Ideally experience with infrastructure as code and automated operational processes
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
High personal responsibility and strong quality awareness
Enjoyment of technical challenges and continuous development
Confident manner in dealing with different stakeholders
