At La Montre Hermès, within the Sales and Commercial Operations Department, the Sales Coordinator ensures the daily follow-up of clients, including the management of shipments and returns, in keeping with the spirit of service and progress that Hermès aims to offer its clients.
He/she provides the client with the right product, at the right place, at the right time, at the lowest cost and with the best quality, delivering a relevant and high-quality response to any request in a spirit of service and respect.
He/she develops versatility to contribute to a reliable and flexible organisation, while offering a good level of expertise, and takes on a role representing the company to the client.
Your main tasks will be as follows:
The Sales Coordinator manages daily contacts with clients by providing them with relevant solutions and information, and fully handles the administrative follow-up of clients in complement to the activity of the Market Managers.
Under delegation from the latter and in agreement with them, he/she proposes alternative product options.
He/she receives, checks and records orders, verifies the availability of parts and monitors deadlines.
He/she manages the preparation of shipments by coordinating with the shipping department, optimises shipments by grouping goods in agreement with the markets, and issues commercial and pro forma invoices for his/her clients, including those for complementary items.
He/she prepares all shipping and export documents, masters export formalities, specific documentation, various legalisations and free trade agreements.
He/she books and organises transport to the destination according to client instructions, works closely with the Import-Export team for CITES orders and shipment planning, and monitors shipments until arrival.
He/she reports problems during export and proposes solutions, organises and ensures the filing of all shipments made, and retrieves customs papers necessary as proof of export, ensuring their regular filing.
He/she regularly checks, updates and sends portfolios to clients, sends price lists under delegation, and manages advance payment requests when defined as such.
He/she follows up on client payments and issues reminders if necessary, in agreement with the Market Manager, maintains client records, contact lists and addresses up to date, and manages returns according to the written procedure.
Finally, he/she prepares correspondence, sends mailings, manages filing and archiving of documents, and participates in working sessions with the markets.
Your profile:
You hold a Federal VET Diploma in Commercial Employee or equivalent, and have proven successful prior experience in a similar position.
You are proficient in the Office environment as well as an ERP tool, and have excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
With a keen sense of priorities and strong sense of responsibility, you demonstrate rigour in the information provided as well as constant attention to control and verification.
Autonomous and driven by a sense of collective interest for the company, you show commercial sensitivity and the ability to be proactive, as well as a strong service orientation.
Flexible and highly adaptable to very diverse situations and issues, you demonstrate diplomacy, interpersonal ease and good stress management.
